National Prehospital Emergency Care Workshop

The National PEC Workshop, funded by MOH, is a collaborative initiative by UPEC and ITE, aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of private sector paramedics and EMTs. Conducted twice annually, this fully subsidized workshop provides EMS professionals with the knowledge, techniques, and practical skills essential for delivering high-quality pre-hospital care.
The workshop offers hands-on training sessions to enhance core clinical skills and emergency procedures. It includes specialized modules on topics such as ECG interpretation, airway management, and trauma care, as well as scenario-based training designed to build confidence and competence in real-world applications. Additionally, the workshop provides opportunities for participants to engage with experienced instructors and peers, fostering a collaborative learning environment that supports professional growth and development.
The National PEC Workshop not only supports the professional development of EMS personnel but also strengthens the overall quality of emergency medical services, ensuring participants are well-prepared to meet the dynamic demands of the field.
