Community Outreach
DARE 'Festival of Hands' Campaign

Public Engagements

UPEC recognises the importance of proactive engagement with the community. Through collaborative efforts with our partners, the unit aims to strengthen local connections and create lasting positive impacts. By engaging directly with the members of public, we not only raise awareness about CPR+AED but also foster a sense of unity and shared responsibility. This outreach enables us to work closely with various agencies to drive meaningful change across Singapore.
National Roadshows
National roadshows aim to raise awareness, enhance community resilience,
and prepare the public for emergency situations. In partnership with agencies
like the Ministry of Home Affairs' SGSecure, SAFRA's Total Defence engagement,
and the People's Association's Community Resilience Day, the DARE programme
contributes by engaging the public through abridged CPR+AED hands-on sessions
at the roadshows, further strengthening community preparedness and resilience.

CPR Gamification
Learning lifesaving skill can be fun with the QCPR Race, where participants,
at DARE activity booth, practice effective chest compressions through gamification.
Better chest compressions make the on-screen ambulance reaches the finishing
line faster, helping participants realise that quality, not speed, matters
in life-saving.
